Dave Seaman is widely recognized as one of the pioneering figures of the UK house music movement and has remained one of electronic music’s most respected artists for more than three decades.
With a DJ career spanning over 35 years, he has performed at world-renowned clubs, festivals, and events across more than 80 countries, earning a reputation for his deep musical knowledge, impeccable programming, and timeless performances.
Beyond the DJ booth, Seaman has made a lasting impact on electronic music as a producer, remixer, label owner, and music journalist. He served as the first editor of Mixmag, one of the world’s most influential dance music magazines, helping shape club culture during its formative years.
As a producer and remixer, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including David Bowie, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, and U2. His acclaimed mix compilations for Global Underground, Renaissance, Balance, and BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix have become benchmarks within the progressive house scene.
